Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty; power is ever stealing from the many to the few

Wendell Phillips, 1852

The enemies of Freedom do not argue: they shout and they shoot.

BE PREPARED...

As I watch w and cheney do numerous exit interviews, I am struck by the same visceral rumblings that have visited me often over the past 8 years. These two have shown us the very worst in human behavior and clearly, they feel no remorse or have no regrets regarding the behavior they engaged in to satisfy their apparently insatiable greed. The sneers and the smugness are just as infuriating today as in the past, maybe even more so as they flaunt their illegal and immoral behavior in our faces as they truly believe that as the superior race they are above the law and are not subject to any sort of examination of their actions, let alone an investigation.
I strive to be a Patriot. Patriots do not stand by idly while greedy, egotistical leaders and financiers dishonor our Constitution. They must be pursued and prosecuted for any and all wrongdoings. They are war criminals and they deserve to be treated as such.
If you do not have a shortcut on your desktop to your Senators, Representatives, and the President, along with any other state and local public representatives, then you are not yet a Patriot. So take the next step, shortcut them and lets make it as convenient as possible to notify your Reps (as Patriots, we will be communicating with them often). Emails are fine, phone calls are better and a letter (snail mail!), even better. Oh, personal contact is, of course, the best way to communicate . Here's a little help to get you started:

  3. Hi Sharon,
I found the link on Brad's side and actually I expected the content to be much different. What a surprise! And then once again, treading your lines... there is sooo much, that I could say here, but i would soon run outr of space and time, so I try and keep it short.
Thanks for the constructive effords and I really do hope, that people do take the opportunity to get involved in a constructive way, because it really works, IF and WHEN you do it. representatives are very realiable on what the public think and most political follow any pressure as lonjg as it makes them look good and stay in the game. So when your message is a constructive one, it's best to express it and make yourself heard! there is no need to leave it all to people with less good intentions or do nothing at all.
Thnanks for pointing this out and thanks for encouraging people to act constructively!

  4. Thank you Sarah for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog. I welcome all comments. Our nation has experienced 8 really awful years, the state of mind that can put one in is not healthy for our country, OR I might add our individual psyches! Being positive and constructive is about the only way I can rid myself of the ire I feel toward w's administration...one might say this blog is my therapy...if one were a psychologist!!! Stop by often.
